Risk Disclosure
Trading leveraged products carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Please make sure you understand these risks before you trade.
1. General risk
The value of positions can rise and fall quickly. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. You should consider your experience, objectives and financial situation, and seek independent advice if needed.
2. Leverage
Leverage lets you open a large position with a small deposit (margin). It magnifies both profits and losses. A small market move against you can result in a large loss relative to your deposit. See Leverage & Margin for examples.
3. Margin calls & stop-out
If your equity falls below the required margin, you may receive a margin call and positions may be closed automatically at the stop-out level, possibly at a loss.
4. Volatility, gaps & slippage
Prices can move sharply around news, market opens and low-liquidity periods. Prices may gap, and stop-loss orders are not guaranteed to be filled at the exact level requested.
5. Over-the-counter products
CFDs are traded over the counter (OTC) and not on a regulated exchange. You cannot transfer positions to another provider, and our prices are derived from, but not identical to, underlying market prices.
6. Cryptocurrency CFDs
Crypto markets are particularly volatile, can trade around the clock, and may be affected by regulatory changes, outages and low liquidity.
7. Technical risk
Internet, hardware or software failures may delay or prevent order placement. Keep your platform updated and have a backup way to reach us.
8. Costs
Spreads, commissions and overnight swap charges reduce returns, especially for frequent trading or positions held for long periods. Check the costs for your account on Trading Conditions.
9. Negative balance protection
For retail clients, negative balance protection ensures your losses cannot exceed the funds in your trading account.
